The Roses

Thornberry Roses offer a variety of David Austin, Hybrid Tea, Floribunda and Old-fashioned roses in a variety of colours ranging from burgundy through to blush and white. Many of our roses are gorgeously fragrant.

Our roses are organically-grown without the chemical pesticides and fungicides traditionally used to grow roses. As a result they can be handled, reused and even eaten without fear of chemical residues. They are picked straight from the field into buckets of water often within 24 hours of pick up.

Roses are available from November - May and are supplied on a first-come first-serve basis. Orders are confirmed approximately 5 days before the arranged pick up day to allow time for florists to order from another supplier in the event that your order can not be filled (sometimes this may happen due to weather and rain events that are beyond our control). For example, for Friday/Saturday weddings you will be contacted Sunday evening or first thing Monday morning to confirm your order. 

Please note that Thornberry's roses are garden roses and therefore may come with the odd perfect imperfection or insect! 

Pick up is from the farm gate and florists are encouraged to pick up as close to the event date as possible (for example, a Friday pick up for a Saturday wedding). The roses will be supplied in buckets of water which can be transferred to florists buckets upon pick up.
